Jerry, George, and Elaine wait for a table at a Chinese restaurant before going to see Plan 9 from Outer Space. The entire evening is spent in the lobby, battling the indifferent host who keeps promising the table will be ready in “five, ten minutes.”
George desperately tries to use the payphone to call his girlfriend, Elaine offers to bribe the host, and Jerry is agonizing over recognizing a woman but not remembering her name. They leave just seconds before their name is finally called.
