NBC executives ask Jerry to pitch an idea for a sitcom. George, acting as his self-appointed manager, insists they pitch a show about “nothing,” based entirely on their own lives and meaningless conversations.
The executives are bewildered by the concept. George’s aggressive negotiation tactics almost torpedo the entire deal, while Jerry desperately tries to salvage the opportunity. In the background, Newman receives a speeding ticket he tries to fight in court.
