Elaine’s former boss steals her idea for a bakery that only sells the tops of muffins. However, they soon realize that producing the tops requires baking the whole muffin and discarding the “stumps,” creating a massive waste disposal problem.
They try to donate the stumps to a homeless shelter, but the shelter refuses them as an insult. Eventually, they have to hire Newman, a “cleaner,” to consume the massive excess of muffin stumps in exchange for fresh milk.
